Not necessarily! Our Can-Am Maverick buggies and ATV Quad bikes are fully automatic and beginner-friendly, requiring only a basic orientation from our instructors. However, for dirt bikes (KTM, GasGas, Husqvarna), clutch and motorcycle handling experience is mandatory. If you are newer to two wheels, our marshals provide customized coaching in a private flat sand bowl prior to taking on technical dunes.
Yes. We offer private luxury 4x4 transfers from any hotel, residence, or airport across Dubai and Sharjah directly to our Al Badayer desert basecamp. You can select this option while booking or simply confirm your pickup location with our WhatsApp booking team.
Because all tours take place strictly off-road on designated desert trails and private dune areas, a regular street driver's license is not legally mandated by Dubai tourism authorities. However, drivers must be at least 16 years old for solo buggy/quad driving and 18 years old for manual dirt bikes. All minors must have a parent or guardian sign a standard indemnity waiver.
We provide complete pro-grade safety equipment at no extra charge: DOT/ECE-certified helmets, anti-dust sand goggles, chest roost protectors, elbow and knee guards, gloves, and fresh jerseys. For dirt bike packages, Alpinestars motocross boots are also provided.
We operate ungoverned, factory-maintained high-performance machines. Unlike commercial desert camps that run slow, rev-limited buggies in small enclosed circles, our convoys explore open rolling red dunes (Big Red & Al Badayer) led by active desert rally marshals who match pace to your exact skill level.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Apple Pay, UAE Bank Transfers, and Cash upon arrival. Free cancellation is permitted up to 24 hours prior to your tour staging time. If weather conditions (such as severe sandstorms) make riding unsafe, you will be offered an immediate full refund or a free reschedule.
Comfortable athletic wear is ideal (t-shirts and comfortable pants/jeans). Avoid loose robes or loose dresses. Closed-toe shoes or sneakers are mandatory if not using our motocross boots. We provide chilled mineral water, hydration backpacks, and secure lockers at our basecamp for your personal belongings.
